Nelson Mandela – Our Beloved Father

(18th July 1918 – 5th Dec 2013)

We all wake up with the news of the demise of tenacious, courageous, anti-apartheid but yet so kind and humble soul – Nelson Mandela, the first black South African President.

It is so sad to hear this news. But as the life cycle goes on, so both life and death are sure to happen but what matters most is that how we add value to the life. We all are living because we have given this life but do we ever think that why we have been gifted with this life. Only few of the thousands get the real meaning and purpose of this life and set their life as an example to follow for the generations to come.

In this regard, we must take the lessons from the life of Shri Nelson Mandela. He never put their weapons down in the adverse situations but challenged everyone. For their tireless struggle for freedom, equality, humanity and concern about the people, he was awarded with the life imprisonment for which he spent his precious 27 years in the prison but this eventually led South Africa to democracy. And when he released from the prison he set the direction of his life and plunged himself wholeheartedly into his life’s work, striving to attain goals he and others had set out almost four decades earlier.

He was the Father of their nation. And the second non-Indian after Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan who was awarded with the India’s highest civilian award Bharat Ratna.

We all pray for their departed soul a heavenly and peaceful journey in the abode of God. We all miss you.

Some of the best teachings from their own life are as:

1.     I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
2.      It always seems impossible until it's done.
3.      Lead from the back — and let others believe they are in front.
4.      A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.
5.    Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again

SMILE - A Beautiful Gift

A SMILE is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside. Life is short but a smile takes barely a second.  Every tear has a smile behind it.

A SMILE is a curve that sets everything straight. A good neighbor is a fellow who smiles at you over the back fence, but doesn't climb over it.  If you see a friend without a smile; give him one of yours.

A SMILE starts on the lips, a grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.

Too often we underestimate the Power of a SMILE, which have the potential to turn a life around. SMILE is the language of love.  The real man SMILE in trouble, gathers strength from distress and grows brave by reflection.

A SMILE is an inexpensive way to change your looks. All people SMILE in the same language. A warm SMILE is the universal language of kindness.

If I thought that a smile of mine, might linger the whole day through and lighten some heart with a heavier part, I'd not withhold it -- Would you???

Smile because God gave Human this beautiful gift - A Smile.... So KEEP SMILING!!!

Nature Of Every Human

The brain is wider than the sky. Get up now, think big and fly high.

There are three ingredients in the good life: learning, earning and yearning. Wish you all three.

New day new blessing. Don't let yesterday's failures ruin the beauty of today; because each day has its own promise of love, joy, forgiveness.....

Anything is more important when you cannot get it. When you can get it this is less important for you. This is nature of every human.

Keep Moving with Love Towards Your Destination :  Single minded but flexible, like a river forging its eternal route, I am dedicated to completions and natural conclusions. There is nothing that cannot be achieved. There is nothing that remains permanent. I keep on moving with love and purpose towards my destination. My resolve is firm, my aims are clear. I am determined.

PS: Love is always bestowed as a gift – freely, willingly and without expectation. We don’t love to be loved; we love to love.

Never listen to someone who says you cannot do something. Your heart is equipped with determination; just dare to believe anything is possible. Root not the discouragements or what's been, for they don't matter. What matters is what you believe and what is in your heart. Make the effort to bring the dream to life and you will achieve what you believe.

Live for Today

May You Always Have Positive Thoughts. May every day of your life bring you fresh hopes for tomorrow – Because hope gives all of us our reason for trying.

May each new day bring a feeling of excitement, joy, and a wonderful sense of expectation. Expect the best, and you’ll get it.

May you find peace in simple things, because those are the ones that will always be there.

May you remember the good times and forget the sorrow and pain, for the good times will remind you of how special your life has been.

May you always feel secure and loved, and know you are the best. May you experience all the good things in life – the happiness of realizing your dreams, the joy of feeling worthwhile, and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve succeeded.

May you find warmth in others, expressions of love and kindness, smiles that courage you, and friends who are loyal and honest.

May you realize the importance of patience and accept others for what they are. With understanding and love, you’ll find the good in every heart.

May you have faith in others and the ability to be vulnerable. Open your heart and really share the miracle of love and intimacy.

Above all, may you always have positive thoughts.

Give yourself a chance, Give yourself the moment, Give yourself the freedom, Give yourself the power, Give yourself the confidence, Live for today not for tomorrow or past, Live the EXTREME… Because you got yourself only one life… LIVE IT…

Please note that It is not about what caused you to fall flat on your back that defines you; it is what you do to get back up on your feet.

A Miracle of Positivity

Forget about the Days when you've been Lonely. But don't forget the Friendly Smiles you've seen.
Forget about the Days when it has been Cloudy. But don't forget Your Hour in the Sun.
Forget about the Time when you've been Defeated But don't forget the Victories you've won.
Forget about the Misfortunes which you encountered. But don't forget the Times your Luck has turned.
Forget about the Mistakes that you can't Change. But don't forget the Lesson that you've learnt.

The climax of worry is that so intense, that it will build up a wall or a fence. Sometimes one's worry will cause to degrade the entire positive they've ever made. Don't let your worry to tear you apart. Say a little prayer before worries start. Open the window and breathe in the view with all the answers that God sends to you. Let not your worry to tally the score. Let GOD help you now times long before.

Bring About a Positive Change: To have the awareness of being God's instrument is to bring about a positive change. When there is the awareness of being an instrument of God, there would be the desire to do the best and be the best. So each and every thing I do would be for the improvement for the self. Due to this there would be divinity and specialty seen in everything that is done. This would also bring the awareness of all the resources and they would also be used in a worthwhile way. When we are aware of our role and what we contribute through our specialties, we recognize the fact that we are a beautiful instrument of God. This awareness naturally helps us be in our state of self-respect under all circumstances. We find ourselves giving our best and making ourselves more and more beautiful within. We are able to bring about a positive change with great ease.

To My Dear Maa - with love

My dear Maa,

I said a prayer for you
to thank the Almighty above
For blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.

I also thank God for all the caring
you have shown me through the years,
For all the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.

And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me
And I bless the Lord for giving me
the best mother there could be.

You mean so much to me Maa, you mean the world to me. I Love you Very much.

Interaction – A key to bring confidence

Connecting to others is an art and the person who knows that art of connection is successful.

Being a social animal, we work as per our own limited knowledge. We are normally good to people who are good to us. But when someone is not behaving well, we tend to change our attitude, our response and our behavior towards that person. Instead of changing ourselves, we wait for the other person to change. So neither do we find change in others nor in ourselves.

When we know the art of perceiving others specialities and connecting to them, we are always successful. We are then not dependent on the other person’s behavior for our own growth. We are able to see each one’s positive aspect and take it in ourselves too. So we are richer with each interaction. And that interaction automatically brings confidence in us to deal with any kind of person.
